Sega Game Gear: TOSEC + No-Intro

"The Sega Game Gear is a handheld game console which was Sega's response to Nintendo's Game Boy. It was the third commercially available color handheld console, after the Atari Lynx and the TurboExpress.

Work began on the console in 1989 under the codename "Project Mercury", following Sega's policy at the time of codenaming their systems after planets. The system was released in Japan on October 6, 1990, North America, Europe and Brazil in 1991, and Australia in 1992. The launch price was $150. Sega dropped support for the Game Gear in early 1997." Winkawaks 1.60 Romset.

Winkawaks 1.60 is out for a few months already and I was about to start to upload the full set, but just realized that it's possible to build the Winkawaks romset from MAME set. So instead of wasting time on uploading gigabytes here is an info how to do it.

You need MAME 0.129 set, dat file, and a rom manager. Get the dat file:

http://www.logiqx.com/Dats/WinKawaks/

and use the rom manager to build the set from MAME set :-) That's it!

( Daphne ) Laserdisc MPEG: Us vs Them

"Us vs Them is a laser disc game manufactured by Gottlieb / Mylstar in 1984. It was created by Warren Davis who also created the cult classic, Q*bert.

In Us vs Them, you pilot a starship and must protect earth against alien invaders. You would see frightened citizens and military command personnel, as small intermissions throughout the game. Your mission takes place over San Francisco, Chicago, and Hollywood, as well as through forest, mountain, and desert terrain." (dragons-lair-project.com)

Nintendo - Virtual Boy No-Intro 20081108 Romset

"Nintendo Virtual Boy (バーチャルボーイ ,Bācharu Bōi?) (also known as the VR-32 during development) was the first portable game console capable of displaying "true 3D graphics" out of the box. Most video games are forced to use monocular cues to achieve the illusion of three dimensions on a two-dimensional screen, but the Virtual Boy was able to create a more accurate illusion of depth through the effect known as parallax.

Mario Clash (1995)

In a manner similar to using a head-mounted display, the user looks into an eyepiece made of neoprene on the front of the machine, and then an eyeglass-style projector allows viewing of the monochromatic (in this case, red) image. It was released on July 21, 1995 in Japan and August 14, 1995 in North America at a price of around US$180. It met with a lukewarm reception that was unaffected by continued price drops. Nintendo discontinued it the following year. The Virtual Boy is considered Nintendo's only major game console failure in the home video game market." (Wikipedia)
